I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Konstantinos H. Papadopoulos, Chair of the Hematology Working Group of the Hellenic Cardiology Society, for the unwavering support and assistance he provided to our project, the Cardionow echocardiograph, a new Greek initiative in digital technology, at the “5th Seminar on Echocardiographic Techniques,” which was organized jointly with Dr. Savvas Loizos and was a resounding success. This project, which we launched together with Homer Papadopoulos and Paschalis Anatsis 2.5 years ago through hard work, seems to be taking shape! Patients will now be able to send a single-lead electrocardiogram (for now) to their personal physician in near real time via smartphone or tablet using the iWelli App. More information and details on how to use it will follow.
