Dr. Christos Maniotis: Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Christos Maniotis is a graduate and Ph.D. recipient of the School of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his residency in Cardiology at the “Korgialeneio Benakio – Red Cross” in Athens and “St. Luke’s” Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University, in New York.

He is a member of the Medical Associations of Athens, Sweden, and Cyprus, and his research interests cover a broad spectrum of the field of cardiology. He has numerous publications and papers that have received distinctions and awards at international conferences. He specializes in the latest techniques in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography and holds the European certification (EACVI accreditation) in echocardiography. He has also worked in the field of cardiac MRI (at “Ygeia” Hospital) and holds Level 1 certification.

Manages the cardiovascular department of the clinics CarE MediC clinics, where he collaborates with Endocrinologist and Diabetologist Dr. Kleio Hantziara in central Athens. He is an affiliate of the “Ygeia” and “Mitera” hospitals and an external, unpaid affiliate in the hemodynamics department of the Second Cardiology Clinic at the “Korgialeneio-Benakeio – Hellenic Red Cross” (NEES).
